What does archiAuditor actually check?+
29 built-in audits across Layers, Classification and data, Stories and elevation, Structure, Openings, Zones, Renovation, and Hygiene: elements left on the Archicad layer, unclassified elements, undefined Structural Function or Position, empty or duplicate Element IDs, walls and columns not linked to a story top, bottom offsets, thin tall walls, openings without an ID or on a different layer than their wall, zones with no number or name, demolished elements, morphs, elements far from the origin, tiny elements, and dimensions with static points. You can also write your own from around 55 element fields.
Does it fix the problems it finds?+
No: archiAuditor is detection only in version 1. It highlights every failing element in the model and lists it in a table, and clicking a row selects that element in Archicad so you can fix it there. There is no batch correction, no Graphic Override export, and no BCF or Issues integration.
Can I write my own checks?+
Yes. Custom audits combine around 55 element fields with AND/OR conditions, including Archicad properties and GDL parameters, so you can audit template-specific data like a fire rating or a cost code. Group them into Audit Sets and share those as JSON files or through a folder on your office server, so the whole team runs the same standard.
Which Archicad versions are supported?+
Archicad 27, 28, 29, and 30 on Windows 10/11 or macOS 14+ (Intel and Apple Silicon). The interface is English only. Dimming the elements that pass, so only the failures stay lit, is an Archicad 29 and 30 feature; on 27 and 28 the failures are highlighted without the rest of the model being dimmed.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes: a free 7-day trial of the full add-on, one per account and per computer. Download it from your account, sign in from inside Archicad, and start the trial there. Cancel the full subscription anytime; you are only billed for months used.
