Per-item visibility
Toggle entire folders on/off, or drill in and hide individual views inside cloned folders. The counter at the top always shows visible vs hidden so you know how much you've filtered.
Show/Hide All and Expand/Collapse All
One-click buttons to reset visibility or clean up the tree UI. Handy when you want to start from scratch or collapse everything to focus.
Instant search
The search box filters the tree live as you type. Partial matches work, so 'plan' surfaces every plan view across all folders without you expanding each one.
Place from palette
With a Layout open in Archicad, select a view in the palette and click Place to drop it directly as a drawing on the Layout. Saves a trip through the Navigator.
Re-link drawings
Select an existing drawing on a Layout, pick a different view in the palette, and re-link the drawing to the new source. No need to delete and re-place: cropping, scale, and position are preserved.
Now part of archiTweaks
archiViewFilter is now archiTweaks, a bundle of five View Map and Layout Book tools: the archiViewMap palette (everything above), Link Drawing To View, Align Drawings, the Layout Generator, and Bulk Relink Drawings. The palette is also available from 3D, sections, elevations, and layout windows.
Align Drawings (sync groups)
Keep the same plan, section, or elevation drawing aligned on every layout it appears on. Put the drawings in a named sync group, move the master once, and all members follow: opt in to syncing position, crop, scale, or any combination.
Layout Generator
Build many layouts at once. Use the Quick tab for auto-incrementing IDs and a name pattern, or the CSV Import tab to generate an entire layout-book structure from a CSV: design it visually at archixml.architools.net, with per-subset ID settings and per-row master assignments, and choose exactly which rows to import. Existing layout IDs are skipped, never overwritten.
Bulk Relink Drawings
Remap the source views of drawings across many layouts in one step, by folder swap, by find/replace on view names, or by explicit source-to-target pairs, to fix the 'all my drawings still point at the old view folder' problem after restructuring the View Map. Preview before applying.
