Story mode builds a sequence from a render you already have. You describe the story, break it into beats, and each beat becomes a clip, so the output is a short walkthrough rather than a single moving image.
Building a sequence
- Add a finished render first: the sequence starts from an existing generation
- Describe the story you want
- Edit each beat's description, saying how to get there from the previous frame
- Draw any beat that has not been rendered yet, or drag one in from the strip
Rendering and cost
Approving the storyboard starts the video spend, charged per completed clip. Clips that fail are not charged. Each clip takes roughly one to six minutes, and completed clips are saved to your gallery like any other video.
Keep the tab open while a run is in progress: closing it pauses the run until you come back.
Availability
Story mode needs a Pro plan or higher, and a verified email address. See Animate for single-clip video from one render.
