1. Open archiZone
In Archicad, open Design > Architools > archiZone. The main palette shows Project Info, Synchronization, Analysis, and Audit & Highlighting sections.
2. Set your zoning parameters
In Project Info, enter the Site Area and each target ratio: Lot Coverage (LC), Floor Area Ratio (FAR), Underground Coverage (UC), Green Space Ratio (GSR). You can load/save parameters to the archiZone WebApp from here.
3. Tag your zones
Each Archicad Zone needs a role, Ground Floor, Upper Floor, Semi-Basement, Basement, or Green Space, so archiZone knows how to count it.
- Manual: select zones and click the matching role button
- Click-to-tag: activate a role, then click zones one by one on the floor plan
- AutoTag: archiZone assigns roles automatically based on story position
4. Open Realtime Tracking
The Realtime Tracking palette shows a compact live dashboard with color-coded OK/X status for LC, FAR, UC, and GSR. It recalculates instantly as you modify zones.
5. Review with Compliance Charts
For presentations and layouts, open Compliance Charts: a visual dashboard with percentage gauges, area-breakdown donut chart, and Export to Layout.
