Zone tagging
Every zone needs a role for compliance math to work. Tag Zones lets you assign roles by selection or by clicking zones one at a time on the floor plan. AutoTag assigns roles automatically based on each zone's story position.
Boolean footprint calculation
Overlapping zones on the same story used to inflate lot coverage. archiZone runs a boolean polygon union on zone footprints so only unique covered area counts: accurate LC even with overlaps.
Multi-building support
Assign a Building ID to any zone to track compliance per building. Useful for campus-style sites where each building has its own ratios.
Compliance Charts
A visual dashboard with percentage gauges, color-coded compliance cards, an area-breakdown donut chart, and one-click Export to Layout so the chart ends up on your sheet.
Highlight by role, building, or contributor
Use Highlight to color-code zones by their role, building ID, or the elements contributing to a specific ratio: fast visual audit of your model's zoning structure.
Number Zones
Sequentially number zones by clicking them on the floor plan, no more manually typing numbers that go out of order when you add a zone in the middle.
Net Area Ratio
Compare zones vs slabs per story to get a net-to-gross ratio. Flags inefficient floors where structure and circulation consume too much of the envelope.
Property Highlighter
A general-purpose palette that color-codes any Archicad element by any property, not just zoning. Handy beyond archiZone's core use case.
Zone & slab audit
Lists every zone and slab grouped by story with area and role: useful for spotting missing tags or stray elements on the wrong story.
Building, Category & Apartment managers
Dedicated palettes keep a multi-building model organized: the Buildings manager adds, renames, and clears building tags; the Categories manager creates custom category tags (apartment, shop, parking, green roof, and more) that map to WebApp fields; and the Apartments manager audits apartments per building with live net-area totals.
Floor Codes
Compute each building's floor-composition code automatically, for example 2B+S+P+5, and write it to a slab property for use in labels and schedules. A 'to floor' variant handles stepped buildings.
Number Elements
The former Number Zones now numbers both zones and slabs, with options for a prefix, a suffix, a custom start value (letters or numbers), and letter or zero-padded numbering styles.
Boundary-derived Site Area
Tag a mesh or boundary outline and let archiZone compute the lot's Site Area from its geometry (a boolean union that ignores interior holes) instead of typing the number in.
Apartment audit & standards
Audit apartments against size standards, Kosovo Table 1 by default, fully editable and CSV-importable, and expose each apartment's net area as autotext (%archiZone Apartment Net Area%) for labels.
Height & setback checks
Ht+ color-codes zones and slabs by story elevation against the maximum height limit; SB+ builds a transparent 3D slab showing the buildable volume that remains after applying setback offsets.
Embedded WebApp palette
The archiZone App palette now opens the WebApp in a chromeless embedded view, no site header, nav, or footer, for a seamless calculator-inside-Archicad experience. The add-on menu is also available from 3D, sections, and layout windows.
